A former Liberal Party staff member has died in Canberra’s south, after a short illness.

A neighbour said the body had been removed from a house at Glenfinnan in the south of Canberra and a post-mortem examination will be conducted.
Mr Hagg was one of the first Liberals to publicly acknowledge Mr Duffy’s conduct while he was a senator and Mr Hogg is known to have worked for Senator Duffy.
Senator Hogg had served in the Senate since 2010 and had been a former staffer to former prime minister Stephen Harper.
